Blown Bitumen
Industrial-grade oxidised bitumen with high softening point for waterproofing & insulation.
Engineered for performance, dispatched with confidence.
Blown Bitumen is produced by passing controlled streams of air through hot paving-grade bitumen, oxidising it to dramatically raise its softening point and reduce its temperature susceptibility.
The resulting industrial-grade bitumen has a high softening point, low penetration and high viscosity — making it ideal for applications where the binder must hold its shape under heat rather than flow.
We supply standard industrial grades (85/25, 90/40, 115/15) per IS:702 for use in roofing felts and membranes, pipe and cable coatings, electrical insulation compounds and industrial waterproofing.
