Anti Stripping Agent
Liquid amine additive that protects bitumen-aggregate bond from moisture damage.
Engineered for performance, dispatched with confidence.
Anti-Stripping Agent is a heat-stable liquid amine additive that is blended directly into hot bitumen at very small dosages. It chemically promotes a stronger bond between the binder and the mineral aggregate, particularly with hydrophilic (acidic) aggregates.
Its single most important benefit is protecting the pavement from moisture damage — the gradual stripping of bitumen from the aggregate that leads to ravelling, potholes and premature pavement failure in monsoon, coastal and waterlogged regions.
Our agent is compatible with all paving-grade and modified bitumens, remains stable up to 180 °C and delivers retained coating above 95% — significantly extending pavement life with minimal cost impact.
